About this range

Do you need to power electrical equipment or charge a battery? These are two different tasks. A DC-DC converter is not automatically a battery charger.

What to check before purchasing

Choose input and output voltage based on the actual system.
Choose a DC-DC battery charger with the correct charging profile for battery charging.
Clarify current, isolation, BMS control, and alternator load before purchasing.

If you are charging lithium from the alternator

Do not just look at the charger's amperage. The alternator, cables, fuse, battery, and BMS must all be able to handle the chosen charging current.
