30-day right of withdrawal at SejlStrøm

I offer a 30-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive the item. This is an extension of the standard statutory 14-day cooling-off period.

Withdrawal period

The withdrawal period expires 30 days after the day on which you – or another person designated by you (excluding the carrier) – take physical possession of the item.

If you have ordered multiple items in the same order and I cannot deliver them at the same time, the withdrawal period only begins on the day on which you – or another person designated by you (excluding the carrier) – receive the final item.

If the deadline expires on a public holiday, Saturday, Constitution Day, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve, the deadline is extended to the following business day.

How to exercise your right of withdrawal

You exercise your right of withdrawal by notifying me clearly that you wish to cancel the purchase. This can be done via email or telephone:

The withdrawal deadline is met if you send your notice of withdrawal before the deadline expires.

Returns and costs

Once you have notified me that you wish to withdraw from your purchase, the item must be returned via the nearest parcel shop.

The item must be returned without undue delay and no later than 30 days after you have notified me that you wish to cancel your purchase. The deadline is met if the item is shipped before the 30 days have expired.

Items must not be sent C.O.D. (cash on delivery).

You must bear the direct costs associated with returning the item yourself.

Refunds

When you withdraw from your purchase, all payments received from you, including any delivery costs, will be refunded.

The refund will be processed without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day I receive your notice of withdrawal. However, I reserve the right to withhold the refund until I have received the returned item, or you have provided documentation that the item has been shipped.

The refund will be issued using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed. No fees will be charged in connection with the refund.

Testing, depreciation, and packaging

You are only liable for any depreciation of the item if it has been handled in a way other than what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the item.

You may test the item in the same way you would in a physical store, but the item must not be put into actual use.

If the item has lost value due to improper use, the depreciation may be deducted from the amount refunded to you. If the item no longer has any commercial value, the purchase price will not be refunded.

The item must be securely packaged. Please include the original packaging, labels, user manuals, and other accessories if you have them, as missing or damaged packaging and accessories may be taken into account when assessing any depreciation. The risk of the item rests with you until I have received it in return. I therefore recommend that you keep your postal receipt and any track & trace number.
