Installation and choosing accessories

The Victron Blue Smart IP22 24/16 charger charges a 24 V battery from shore power or another suitable 230 V supply. The total charging current is up to 16 A and can be reduced for smaller batteries.

Compatibility and installation
Select the charging profile according to the battery manufacturer's voltage and temperature limits. Lithium charging requires a battery with a suitable BMS. Choose the charging current according to the battery's permissible current; a higher ampere value is not always the right choice.
