When a diesel heater needs to draw fuel from an existing tank, a standpipe (pickup) is used. It ensures that the heater draws diesel from the top of the tank instead of the bottom.
This way, you avoid the heater being able to drain the entire tank, so there is still fuel left for the engine.
This kit makes it easy to create a secure fuel connection for diesel heaters in boats, campers, cars, or off-grid installations.

🔧 Typical application
The standpipe system is mounted in the top of the tank or in the fuel sender flange.
The pickup tube goes down into the tank, but stops above the bottom, so the heater cannot use the last few liters of fuel.
