Installation and choosing accessories

The JP Heater JP1199 is a 12 V diesel cooktop with two heating zones (a main zone and a secondary residual heat zone) for compact kitchens in boats, caravans, and campers. The model also features a heating lid that can provide supplementary room heating, but it does not replace a standalone diesel heater and cannot distribute heat to other rooms.

Installation and safety
Exhaust and combustion air must be routed correctly according to the manual. The unit must not be used while driving, during refueling, or without a pot on the heating zone in cooking mode. The heating lid must not be closed while the cooking function is active. Check ventilation openings and fire safety clearances. For installation on a boat, suitability and mounting must be assessed specifically.
