The JP Heater JP1268 is a 12 V diesel cooktop with a single cooking zone for compact kitchens in boats, caravans, and campers. The model also features a heating lid that can provide supplementary room heating, but it does not replace a standalone diesel heater and cannot distribute heat to other rooms.

Installation and safety

Exhaust and combustion air must be routed correctly according to the manual. The unit must not be used while driving, during refueling, or without a pot on the cooktop in cooking mode. The heating lid must not be closed while the cooking function is active. Check ventilation openings and fire safety clearances. For installation on a boat, suitability and mounting must be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
