Full product description

The Ocean Signal SafeSea S100 radar transponder is a search and rescue transponder (SART) that meets and exceeds IMO / SOLAS requirements.

The S100 Search and Rescue Transponder (SART) is designed to help locate life rafts and lifeboats. Once the S100 Search and Rescue Transponder (SART) is activated, the unit remains in standby until it is automatically activated by an X-Band Radar from a nearby vessel. The S100 Search and Rescue Transponder then sends a series of pulses that will be displayed on the ship's radar as a line of dots, providing them with the direction and distance to the survival craft.

The S100 Search and Rescue Transponder shares the same operation as the SafeSea E100 EPIRB, which helps make it easy to use for all users.

The manual is provided in English only!
