Victron Orion XS 12/12-50 A – DC-DC battery charger with Bluetooth provides controlled charging of the service battery from a DC supply system. The current limit and charge profile can be customized in VictronConnect, so that the battery and power supply are not chosen solely based on the charger's maximum current.
Choose the right Orion XS
This Orion XS 12/12-50 A is intended for a 12 V supply and a 12 V battery system. If the installation is 24 V, you must choose a model that explicitly supports that voltage.
Bluetooth, battery types, and control
Setup and monitoring can be done via Bluetooth in VictronConnect. Choose a charge profile that matches the battery documentation. Lead-acid batteries and lithium require correct configuration; the lithium installation must also respect the BMS's permissions and protections.

Compatible communication accessories
The VE.Direct port can be used with a VE.Direct cable for a suitable GX device or a VE.Direct to USB interface for a supported computer connection. Cable length, connector space, and the rest of the system must fit. A standard VE.Direct cable is not a power cable.
It must be sized for your installation
Alternator, battery/BMS, power cables, fuses, and cable lugs must be sized together. This product description is not a complete list of materials. Check the installation manual before assembly and purchase of installation parts.
Important limitations
Check the battery's charge profile, BMS, and alternator capacity. Common negative – no galvanic isolation. This version is for 12 V systems – not for 24 V input.
