Bluetooth, batterityper og styring

Victron Orion XS 1400 – DC-DC battery charger with Bluetooth provides controlled charging of the service battery from a DC supply system. Current limit and charging profile can be customized in VictronConnect, so that the battery and power supply are not chosen solely based on the charger's maximum current.
Choosing the right Orion XS
The Orion XS 1400 can work with both 12 V and 24 V systems within the specified voltage ranges. The model can also be used between different nominal system voltages. The maximum current is 50 A; the output power depends on the output voltage.
Bluetooth, battery types and control
Setup and monitoring can be done via Bluetooth in VictronConnect. Choose a charging profile that matches the battery's documentation. Lead-acid batteries and lithium require correct configuration; the lithium installation must also respect the BMS permissions and protections.

Compatible communication accessories
The VE.Direct port can be used with a VE.Direct cable to a suitable GX device or a VE.Direct to USB interface for a supported computer connection. Cable length, connector space, and the rest of the system must fit. A standard VE.Direct cable is not a power cable.
It must be sized for your installation
Alternator, battery/BMS, power cables, fuses, and cable lugs must be sized together. This product description is not a complete bill of materials. Check the installation manual before assembly and purchase of installation parts.
Important limitations
Check the battery's charging profile, BMS, and alternator capacity. Common minus – no galvanic isolation. 1,400 W requires 28 V output; this is not the output power at 12 V.
