Description

Extremely powerful precision shunt for measuring high current in large battery systems.

The Victron Shunt 2000A/50mV is a high-precision measuring resistor used with battery monitors such as the BMV series or other compatible systems. It allows for accurate measurement of current consumption and charging – even in very large installations.

The shunt is mounted on the battery's negative terminal and acts as the central measurement point in the system.

Advantages

  • 2000A shunt for very large installations

  • Accurate measurement of current and energy consumption

  • Standard 50mV signal (wide compatibility)

  • Robust construction for demanding environments

  • Low resistance – minimal energy loss

  • Suitable for professional and high-power systems

A shunt is the very foundation for accurate battery monitoring.

Suitable for

  • Large boats and marine installations

  • High-power inverter setups (5kW+)

  • Off-grid systems with high load

  • Industrial and professional energy systems

💡 Tip from SejlStrøm:
2000A is only for the very largest setups. If you're not operating at that scale, it's better (and cheaper) to choose 500A or 1000A – but with this, you're covered for EVERYTHING 👍
