Description

Extremely powerful battery monitor for large energy systems.

The Victron SmartShunt 2000A is an advanced battery monitor that measures voltage, current, and battery state of charge (SOC) with high precision. Instead of a physical display, it uses Bluetooth, allowing you to monitor all data directly in the VictronConnect app.

With a massive 2000A capacity, this model is designed for large installations with very high current – for example, powerful inverters, large lithium banks, and professional systems.

Advantages

  • 2000A battery monitor for very large systems

  • Bluetooth – monitoring via VictronConnect

  • Shows SOC, voltage, current, and history

  • VE.Direct for GX integration

  • Additional input for battery / temperature / midpoint

  • High precision and reliability

  • Compact solution without display

SmartShunt is a modern replacement for the BMV – just without the display.

Suitable for

  • Large boats and marine installations

  • Powerful inverter setups (5kW+)

  • Off-grid systems with high loads

  • Professional energy systems

💡 Tip from SejlStrøm:
2000A is only for the very largest setups. If you "just" run a regular boat or camper, 500A or 1000A is usually enough – but with this, you're covered for EVERYTHING 👍
