The Victron Temperature Sensor is an accessory for the BMV-702, BMV-712, and SmartShunt that measures the battery temperature directly. This allows you to optimize charging and protect the battery against both overheating and excessively low temperatures.
The sensor connects directly to the battery monitor's shunt and allows you to monitor the temperature and set up alarms.

⚠️ Note: When the sensor is used, it takes over the auxiliary input (you cannot simultaneously measure an auxiliary battery/voltage).
