Installation and choosing accessories

🔧 Installation and compatibility
The unit must be mounted in a dry and ventilated area; the manufacturer does not specify a water resistance rating. Size cables, fuses, and circuit breakers according to maximum current and cable length, and verify the alternator's capacity as well as the battery manufacturer's charging profile. The solar panel's voltage and current must not exceed the charger's limits.

💡 My advice before ordering
I recommend the 50 A model when the alternator, battery bank, and cable cross-section can actually handle that charging current. Bigger is not always better in a boat installation. You are welcome to send photos and model numbers, and I will help with the assessment.
