This is SejlStrøm's recommended first choice for standard insulation, not a manufacturer's warranty or a calculation for year-round use. The area is the interior space that needs to be heated. Boat length is only a rough guide and cannot be converted directly into m². In cases of frost, large glass areas, multiple cabins, or year-round living, I will calculate the requirement specifically.

Important note regarding boat installation

For maritime installations, the exhaust, hull fitting, fuel system, combustion air, and hot air hoses must be installed using parts and materials suitable for the purpose. A standard supplied silencer or through-hull fitting should not automatically be considered gas-tight or approved for boat installation. The installation must be positioned, secured, and tested so that exhaust gas and carbon monoxide cannot penetrate into living areas.
