VEVOR 8 kW 12/24V diesel heater – all-in-one with 7L tank and Bluetooth is a diesel air heater for boats, motorhomes, vans, camping, workshops, and other places where effective heat is desired without leaving the engine running. This version is the all-in-one 7L model with Bluetooth, and the information below applies specifically to VEVOR SKU DDKCYJRQ25N16A38N001V2.

Guideline sizing

Heated area: 11–20 m²
Boat length: 31–40 feet

This is SejlStrøm's recommended first choice for normal insulation, not a manufacturer's warranty or a calculation for year-round use. The area is the interior space to be heated. The boat length is only a rough guide and cannot be converted directly to m². In the event of frost, large glass areas, multiple cabins, or year-round living, I calculate the requirement specifically.

Choose the size based on the room's insulation, outdoor temperature, and the need for air distribution – a higher stated kW value is not necessarily the best solution for a small room.

The heating unit, controls, and installation parts are supplied as shown in the product images. As VEVOR may change accessory packages, the package contents should always be checked against the images and the VEVOR item number before ordering.

Important regarding boat installation

For maritime installations, the exhaust, hull fitting, fuel system, combustion air intake, and hot air hoses must be carried out using parts and materials suitable for the purpose. A standard included silencer or fitting should not automatically be considered gas-tight or approved for installation in a boat. The installation must be positioned, secured, and tested so that exhaust gas and carbon monoxide cannot enter the living areas.
