VEVOR diesel heater 8 kW 12/24 V – square color display is a diesel air heater for boats, motorhomes, vans, camping, workshops, and other places where effective heating is desired without idling the engine. This version is a built-in model with a color display, and the information below applies specifically to VEVOR SKU ZCJRQDC12V8KM839A001V9.

Guideline sizing

Heated area: 11–20 m²
Boat length: 31–40 feet

This is SejlStrøm's recommended first choice for normal insulation, not a manufacturer's warranty or a calculation for year-round use. The area is the internal space to be heated. The boat length is only a rough guide and cannot be converted directly to m². In freezing temperatures, areas with large glass surfaces, multiple cabins, or for year-round living, I calculate the requirement specifically.

Choose the size based on the room's insulation, outside temperature, and the need for air distribution – a higher stated kW value is not necessarily the best solution for a small room.

Heating unit, controls, and installation parts are supplied as shown in the product pictures. Since VEVOR may change accessory packages, the package contents should always be checked against the pictures and the VEVOR item number before ordering.

Important when installing in a boat

For maritime installation, the exhaust, hull fitting, fuel system, combustion air, and hot air hoses must be made using parts and materials suitable for the purpose. A standard supplied silencer or fitting should not automatically be considered gas-tight or approved for installation in a boat. The installation must be positioned, secured, and tested so that exhaust gas and carbon monoxide cannot enter living spaces.
