Guideline for sizing

Heated area: 11–20 m²
Boat length: 31–40 feet

This is SejlStrøm's recommended initial choice for standard insulation, not a manufacturer warranty or a calculation for year-round use. The area is the interior space to be heated. Boat length is only a rough guide and cannot be directly converted into m². In cases of frost, large glass areas, multiple cabins, or year-round living, I will calculate the requirement specifically.

Important for installation in boats

For maritime installations, the exhaust, hull fitting, fuel system, combustion air, and hot air hoses must be executed with parts and materials suitable for the purpose. A standard included muffler or fitting should not automatically be considered gas-tight or approved for installation in a boat. The installation must be positioned, secured, and tested so that exhaust gas and carbon monoxide cannot enter living spaces.
