This is SejlStrøm's indicative first choice for normal insulation, not a manufacturer warranty or a calculation for year-round use. The area is the interior space to be heated. The boat length is only a rough sorting aid and cannot be directly converted to m². In case of frost, large glass areas, multiple cabins, or year-round living, I will calculate the requirement specifically.

Important regarding installation in a boat

For maritime installation, exhaust, hull fittings, fuel system, combustion air, and hot air hoses must be executed with parts and materials suitable for the purpose. A standard included muffler or fitting should not automatically be considered gas-tight or approved for installation in a boat. The installation must be positioned, secured, and tested so that exhaust gas and carbon monoxide cannot enter living spaces.
