Description
The Victron Orion‑Tr 12/12‑30A (360 W) is a professional and galvanically isolated DC‑DC converter , designed to ensure a stable 12 V supply regardless of battery voltage fluctuations. It is suitable for lead‑acid, AGM, Gel and lithium batteries and can charge a secondary service battery directly from your starter battery or alternator.
With adjustable output voltage (10–15 V), you can customize the charging profile, and multiple units can be paralleled for increased total power. The Orion‑Tr series also includes a remote on/off function , which allows the unit to be controlled via, for example, the engine ignition or an external switch.
This model is isolated , meaning electrical separation between input and output – this provides extra safety, reduces noise and eliminates ground loops in systems with multiple batteries.
