Description
The Victron Orion‑Tr 12/48‑8A (380 W) is a robust and galvanically isolated DC‑DC converter that allows you to power 48 V systems directly from a 12 V battery. The galvanic isolation means that the input and output are electrically separated, which increases safety, reduces noise and eliminates the risk of ground loops in complex energy systems.
With a wide input voltage range from approximately 8–17 V, it can handle normal 12 V battery systems even with voltage fluctuations, and the adjustable output voltage from 40 V to 60 V makes it flexible for various 48 V consumers.
It is equipped with a remote on/off terminal , so it can be controlled with, for example, a low-current switch or control signal, and can be paralleled with other units for increased total power if desired.
