Victron Orion-Tr Smart 12/12-30 – DC-DC battery charger, isolated is a battery charger for charging a 12 V auxiliary battery from a 12 V DC system. It can be used in a correctly dimensioned installation in a boat, camper, or vehicle where the charging needs to be controlled rather than simply connecting the battery banks directly.
Controlled charging with Bluetooth
VictronConnect is used for setup via Bluetooth. The charging profile must be set to match the battery; both lead-acid and lithium batteries can be used when the battery manufacturer's requirements and any BMS control are met. The model supports multi-stage charging and can also be configured as a power supply.

The current limit in the table applies at nominal output voltage. At higher temperatures, the load must be derated according to the datasheet. If the output is set higher than the nominal voltage, the requirement for the necessary input voltage also increases.

Cables, fuses, cable lugs, and any BMS control are selected based on the specific installation. They are not generally compatible add-ons based solely on the product name. Check the product variant, space availability, and the manufacturer's installation instructions before ordering and installing.
Important limitations
Battery, BMS, alternator, cables, and fuses must be suitable for the specific installation. This model does not have VE.Direct and cannot be connected to a VE.Direct display or VE.Direct cable. Input and output are galvanically isolated.
