Description
The Victron Orion-Tr Smart 12/48-8A Isolated DC-DC Charger is an advanced DC-DC charger with adaptive 3-stage charging algorithm (bulk → absorption → float) and galvanic isolation , which means that the input side and output side are electrically separated for increased safety and less electrical noise in systems with different grounding.
This model is designed to charge 48V batteries efficiently from a 12V battery – for example where you want to use a vehicle starter battery or solar battery to provide charge to a 48V service battery. Thanks to the built-in Bluetooth connection, you can monitor the status and configure the charging profile via the VictronConnect app, and it also has remote on/off control and engine-running detection.
