Description
The Victron Orion‑Tr Smart 48/12‑20A Isolated DC‑DC Charger is an advanced and flexible DC‑DC charger that uses an adaptive 3‑stage charging algorithm (bulk → absorption → float) for optimal battery charging profile and extended life – for both lead‑acid and lithium batteries . The galvanic isolation ensures that the input and output have separate chassis ground connections, providing additional operational reliability and reducing the risk of electrical noise in complex installations.
Bluetooth connectivity allows charging parameters to be monitored and configured wirelessly with the VictronConnect app, and it also features remote on/off functionality and automatic engine running detection for integration with vehicles with smart alternators.
This model is ideal for both mobile systems and stationary setups where you want to use a 48 V energy source (e.g. solar battery, hybrid system or electric vehicle) to charge a 12 V service system.
