What is included
This item is the SmartSolar MPPT 75/15 controller. Select solar panels, battery, cables, fuses and an optional display separately for the installation.
An MPPT Control display connects using a suitable VE.Direct cable. VE.Direct to USB is an alternative for computer connectivity. Both use the VE.Direct port; built-in Bluetooth does not.
Compatibility and installation
Keep combined panel Voc below 75 V even at the lowest temperature, and respect the maximum PV short-circuit current. Series wiring increases voltage; parallel wiring increases current.
Install in a dry, ventilated position protected from water and salt spray. Configure charging for the battery; lithium requires a suitable BMS and temperature protection. Size cables and fuses for the installation and follow the manual’s connection sequence.
