About this range

Choose an all-in-one solar kit

I have bundled a panel, MPPT controller with display, cables, battery fuse, 25 mm rail mounts, and cable gland into three kits for your existing 12 V battery bank.

All prices include VAT. See dimensions, cable lengths, and installation requirements on the product page. Battery and installation work are not included; boat-specific fasteners and additional materials may be required.

Solar panels for boats – start with space and your consumption

The easiest way to a good solar system is to measure the space you have and then calculate your expected daily consumption. Only then does it make sense to choose the wattage.

→ See my curated selection: “Solar panels for boats – start here”

  1. Measure the actual space available for panel(s).
  2. Find your approximate daily consumption in Wh.
  3. Choose panel size and quantity.
  4. Choose an MPPT controller based on panel voltage and charging current.
  5. Dimension cables and fuses according to current and cable length.

Remember that a complete solar system usually consists of more than just the panel

Panel → cables/MC4 → controller → fuse → battery. Mounts and glands depend on the boat.

Guides to help you choose

How many watts of solar power do I need? · Flexible or rigid panel? · MPPT or PWM?

Actual production depends on factors such as sun, shade, temperature, panel angle, and season.
