Description
In good sunshine, this solar cell system can produce up to approximately 950 Wh per day , which typically covers the total daily power consumption on board - even when you are at anchor for several days.
The system is suitable for general consumption on board, including:
-
Refrigerator with compressor
-
Cabin lights, navigation lights and anchor lights (all night)
-
Flat-screen TV
-
Computer and radio
-
Charging mobile phones and other small devices
Don't know your power consumption?
If you are unsure about how much power your boat uses, you can read our guide to calculating power consumption and download our consumption calculator . Here you can easily calculate your expected consumption and choose the right system the first time.
The package contains
-

MPPT charge controller 12V–24V / 20A with display
(compatible with lithium batteries) -
UV-resistant cables (5 m mounted on each panel)
-
3 sets of waterproof MC4 connectors
(one set at each panel and one set at the charge controller for disconnection) -
1 set of double connectors (can be assembled at the panels or inside the boat)
-
Extra 4 mm² cable (5 m red + 5 m black)
-
3 m battery cable, 2.5 mm² with 30A fuse

New high-end MPPT battery charger
The system comes with an MPPT charge controller with MPP tracker , which ensures optimal utilization of the solar panels.
MPPT technology allows the panels to operate at optimal voltage (around 18–19V). In comparison, a traditional PWM charger pulls the voltage down to 13–14V, which can result in a loss of up to around 35% in performance .
Shadow and location
On boats, shadows can easily form from the mast, boom or rig. This package contains two independent solar panels , which means that if one panel is in the shade, the other can still supply power. This provides a more stable and reliable production in practice.
Recommended battery storage
For approximately 2 days of consumption without sun, we recommend:
-
12V / 150Ah battery (approx. 1800 Wh)
-
Preferably a gel or deep-cycle solar battery
Suitable for marine environments
The solar panels are suitable for use at sea and are resistant to salt and corrosion .
Assembly
Since the mounting solution varies from boat to boat, mounting brackets are not included in the package.
220V in the boat?
If you want 220V on board, the system can easily be expanded with a 220V inverter , which is powered by solar energy.
