The Victron Temperature Sensor is an accessory for BMV-702, BMV-712, and SmartShunt, which directly measures the battery's temperature. This allows for optimized charging and protects the battery from both overheating and excessively low temperatures.
The sensor connects directly to the battery monitor's shunt, allowing you to monitor temperature and set up alarms.

⚠️ Note: When the sensor is used, it takes over the auxiliary input (you cannot simultaneously measure an auxiliary battery/voltage).
