Description
The Victron Orion-Tr Smart 24/48-8.5A Isolated DC-DC Charger is an advanced and efficient battery charger that combines galvanic isolation with smart charge management and Bluetooth setup. It uses an adaptive 3-stage charging algorithm (bulk → absorption → float) to ensure the optimal battery charging profile and extend battery life, whether you use lead-acid, AGM, GEL or lithium batteries. You can wirelessly monitor and configure the charging via the VictronConnect app, and the device also has remote on/off functionality and support for integration with alternators.
This model is ideal for installations where you have a 24 V vehicle system (starter or service battery) and want to charge a 48 V service battery directly — with intuitive configuration and high reliability in a compact, robust housing.
